Dataset and Historical Background

Quick writeup this week. We're looking at beer production in the United States in selected years from 1950 to 2017. The dataset looks at the top 10 brewers by year, as well as the total number of barrels brewed in the selected years. The time covered in this dataset includes some interesting changes in beer consumption and production. From the consolidation of brewers to the rise of the microbrew. The dataset is simple, but the insights that are hidden in this dataset are numerous.
